Support groups - are a way to help one another in several areas. Support groups are for the addict and his/her family members. Support groups have been started for this reason: We want to encourage each other that addiction is not permanent, and the Bible is our instruction manual. We want to talk with others in the group and give them hope, love, and grace. We do believe that there are different stages of recovery and all are welcome to come and be set free of their addictions. We offer a wide range of groups that from step study groups, Bible studies, life skill classes, and group therapy sessions.
Soul Care Counseling - is one-on-one counseling that addresses the root problem(s) that caused the client to turn to drugs and alcohol. People that have been set free in their own lives do our counseling. All soul care providers have been trained. This is the key to success, allowing Jesus Christ to heal your heart, emotions, and fears so you are not bound by addictions any longer. You are victorious in Christ. We do offer group soul care as well.
Peer Mentoring - is a way for people to help each other be accountable. Peer mentoring works the same as a sponsor would. Peer mentors will support the recovering addict in prayer, groups, and meeting with each other one on one. We encourage peer mentors to be involved in the resident’s program to be a Godly example to them and for them.
Family Support and Therapy - Families are a big part of the individual’s recovery and they are effected just as much as the addict. Many families have been ripped apart because the focus has been on the addict for a great amount of time. We offer groups to help families deal with the problem of addiction and we want to help educate and support family members in a healthy way. There are opportunities to come alongside their loved-one and walk this walk of recovery with them.
